Prof. Florence Guillaume and Sven Riva participated in an international conference organized by the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) on the development of international law in the context of the digital economy. They made two presentations: one dealing with the advisability of adopting an international convention recognizing the legal personality of DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), and the other examining the application to smart contracts of the principles on choice of law in international contracts.
