On Tuesday the 11th of May 2021, at 5:30 pm will be held a conference about the Pygmalion software, a lexicographic tool for drawing interactive maps.

The conference will be held by Prof. Francesca Dell’oro, Dr. Helena Bermudez Sabel and Ms. Paola Marongiu and can be followed via Webex on the following link: https://unine.webex.com/unine-fr/j.php? mtid=m3fa41a79860279d27f6603c59f864b8b

Pygmalion is an open science software that allows to describe the semantic evolution of words and to relate the meanings between them. Designed for scientific exchange and didactics, the tool is easy to use and can be used with all languages and scripts. In this presentation, the WoPoss research team (UniNE) will show some examples of its use, illustrating the semantics of some Latin and French words in a lively way through the use of the interactive maps.
